Hi, I’m Lisa.
Welcome to my practice, OptiMind. Having lived in Vermont for over 20 years, I am a double-board certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Nurse-Midwife who helps women cope with and recover from anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, postpartum depression and psychosis, and mood disorders using an integrative approach that includes not only medication but also lab testing, supportive psychotherapy, and evaluation and management of nutritional, environmental, and spiritual contributions to unmangeable moods and feelings.
I specialize in providing compassionate care, especially for women who are experiencing mood worsening during times of hormonal transition (ie, perinatal period, perimenopause, menopause). Additionally, I have a special interest in treating adoptive parents who may be struggling, or parents going through the adoption process, which can be very anxiety-provoking,
I created OptMind for you, because every woman deserves care where they feel heard, understood, and have trust in their treatment plan and provider.
Finding the right provider who takes the time to listen, understands you, and has expertise in Integrative Psychiatry looking at root causes can make all the difference.
You don't need to do this alone. I offer a 15-minute free initial discovery call to see if we are a good fit.
